Valdes relishes Boro challenge

Middlesbrough keeper Victor Valdes told the club website that he is enjoying his time on Riverside after yet another clean sheet this weekend in a 0-0 draw with Everton: “Some people maybe think it’s a special challenge for me but football is always the same.

“You go to the pitch to win games and you don’t think of whether you’re in the relegation zone or at the top. I always want to win games. Especially with Boro because I love this team.”
