Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger told "Sky Sports" that he does not think the injury to midfielder Francis Coquelin is a minor problem and fears a long layoff for the Frenchman.
"Coquelin has a hamstring (problem)," Wenger said in his post-match interview. "We have to wait 48 hours for the scan and the result. But usually when he sits down and comes off it's not so good news.
"If it's just tiredness he will try to play on but he didn't even try to play again."
Coquelin left the club's 3-3 draw with Bournemouth on Tuesday, where they came back from a 3-0 deficit in the final 20 minutes, in the 28th minute with a hamstring problem and will be assessed this week. The club will already lose Mohamed Elneny to the African Cup of Nations.
